How green are we?
In Kinlay House Cork we are very "green" or environmentally aware. Plastic, cardboard & paper are recycled. We are slowly changing all the Light Bulbs to long life environmentally friendly ones. We are trying to train the Staff also to conserve water. Staff & guests are encouraged to turn the Lights off when not needed. Most Showers & Taps are fitted with push buttons to reduce Water wastage. All the Staff cycle & walk to work, by the way! In the past we did try to recycle Glass also but unfortunately most backpackers did not co-operate in this as food etc was thrown into the Glass Recycling bin - but we will attempt this soon again....
